As CEO of Walstar Technologies Pvt. Ltd, I want to share something real with you — especially if you’re a student or fresher preparing for your career.
Let me tell you a quick story from my own journey.
My Story: Reality Hit Me Hard when I was a student, I believed:
“Once I get my degree, companies will come to me.”
“Marks are enough. My degree will speak for me.”
But when I stepped into the real world, no one cared about my marks.
Interviewer only asked:
“What can you build?”
“Do you have any real project experience?”
“Can you solve real problems with your skills?”
That was a wake-up call for me.
I realized — only skill can open doors, not just a paper certificate.
So I started learning by doing. Small projects. Freelance work. Collaborating with others. Slowly, my confidence and value started increasing — not because of my degree, but because of what I could actually do.
Now, as a CEO, I See the Same Pattern
Every week, students come to me asking:
“Sir, I have a B.Tech degree. Can I get a ₹6 LPA job?”
But when I ask:
“Show me your GitHub, your portfolio, or any real work…”
Most of them have nothing to show.
That’s the problem. And it’s not your fault — no one told you this in college.
My Honest Advice to Students in 2025:
A degree is just the start — skills will take you ahead
Build real projects (even small ones)
Learn to work in teams, solve problems, share your work online
Your portfolio is more powerful than your resume
Don’t wait for placement — create your opportunity
Final Words:
In 2025, companies are hiring fast — but only those who are job-ready, not just degree-ready.
Focus on learning. Build something. Show your work.
The world respects what you can do, not just what you’ve studied.
